Wildflowering L.A. is a native wildflower seed sowing initiative throughout Los Angeles County by artist Fritz Haeg.

Fifty highly visible sites were sown in fall 2013 to bloom in spring 2014, culminating in a public exhibition on April 26th, 2014. Presented by LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) in partnership with the Theodore Payne Foundation.

On April 26th, 2014 hundreds of filmmakers, non-profit organizations, and inspired citizens documented stories and investigated 10 questions for the future of Los Angeles as part of a city-wide, participatory media-creation event. The resulting media will be showcased in an interactive geo-tagged archive and a TV series on the future of the American city.
